These procurement routes enable local authorities and housing associations to accelerate procurement, avoid lengthy internal tendering, and where conditions allow directly award work to Cardo.

With several new companies now part of the Cardo Group, we are actively novating existing framework agreements to ensure they transfer under the Cardo name. Once novated, these frameworks become accessible across all Cardo businesses, expanding the pathways through which our divisions can deliver work.

Cardo is already appointed to a robust suite of frameworks covering responsive repairs, planned works, retrofit, and compliance with coverage across most UK regions. We are currently developing a comprehensive framework directory that will detail the frameworks we hold, the regional lots we cover, and the types of work available through each route.

This means clients can confidently engage with Cardo through pre-qualified, compliant frameworks often with the option of direct award or mini competition, making procurement faster, simpler, and more efficient. This will enable operational teams to confidently say to clients: “We’re already accessible through these procurement routes” and “You can easily reach us, and in some cases, direct award without a full tender.”
