Empowering Conversations: Cardo and Speakeasy Club Introduce Pink Benches for Open Dialogue

Cardo is pleased to support Simon Clarke and the team at Speakeasy Club Ltd in their effort to promote open communication and provide accessible resources to people before they reach a crisis point. This collaboration reflects our commitment to mental wellbeing, community connection, and creating a supportive environment.

As part of this initiative, we’ve installed two bright pink benches outside our Cardiff head office. These benches offer a welcoming space for people to connect and talk, supporting mental wellbeing and encouraging a sense of community. By providing a dedicated spot for open conversations, we hope to foster a stronger, more connected environment that supports people when they need it.

Simon Clarke, Director and Founder of Speakeasy Club, shared:

Looking ahead, Speakeasy Club is planning the #Bench2Bench walk in 2025, which will link Chepstow to Penarth with 10 benches along the route, creating a continuous path of support and open dialogue. Each bench will serve as a reminder of the importance of mental wellbeing and community connection.
