CCC Barton Court Careers fair

Organised by the Kent education Business Partnership, and along with over 25 businesses and organisations including Kier, Skanska, Kent County Council and Balfor Beatty, Cardo supported the Barton Court Grammer school careers fair, an opportunity for all student year groups to engage with employer and university representatives.

‘School career fairs provide a highly efficient, low-pressure environment for students to discover diverse career paths, build professional networks, and explore apprenticeship or university options face-to-face. These events bridge the gap between classroom learning and the real world, motivating students by showcasing potential opportunities’

 Cardo representative Kelly with social value Manger engaged with young people on the very busy Cardo stand, with a larger prize for students who completed the bridge build challenge or a smaller piece of Cardo merch for answering an interview question. Along with conversations around careers withing the overall build industry, ways into apprenticeships and the importance of soft skills development.
