Canterbury College Student Employer awards
Cardo Canterbury, along with other business representatives were invited to the Canterbury College student and business supporter awards evening.
Cardo support/Relationship = Work experience placements, Career fairs, Guest speaker sessions
Cardo, (via the social value supply chain scheme), donated two drill sets as prizes for award winning trade students.
Account Manager Matt Palmer represented Cardo at the evening event.
Two award winning student plumbers really chuffed with their Cardo drill sets. One, is chap happened to be scheduled in for a Cardo Industry placement September.
College presentation Cardo statement:
‘Cardo has provided some valuable talks with students, sharing the details of its work placement programme and tips on how students can find opportunities with other employers. The employer has been highly supportive of encouraging students to take their first steps in their career, making its programme open to students providing a comprehensive recruitment process that gives students the grounding when applying for jobs post-graduation. We are very thankful to Cardo for providing such a valuable experience for students on its work placement programme and for continuing to invest time in speaking with groups of students and share what they need to embark on their careers’.

We cannot thank you enough for the amazing pries Cardo gifted, that is going to make a real difference for our lads and really help to set them up!
Due to our policy, I am not allowed to directly send you the photos of the lads as they have not formally consented on our consent forms. However, marketing will be putting all the photos on our socials over the next couple weeks, so when Jess has uploaded these I will send you the link to our Facebook link – I know it seems really sully and a really roundabout way of us doing it, but least you will be able to get the pictures this way!
