Housing Surgery
Since January 2026, Cardo has partnered with the Britwell Housing Surgery to provide dedicated support for residents experiencing housing or repair-related issues. As part of this initiative, Cardo donates six hours of colleague time on a weekly basis to offer face-to-face assistance within the local community.
The housing surgery provides residents with direct access to housing support in a safe and private environment, helping to remove barriers for individuals who may struggle to access services digitally or by telephone. This has been particularly beneficial for vulnerable residents who require more personalised support and reassurance when discussing sensitive housing concerns.
By attending the surgery in person, Cardo colleagues can resolve issues more efficiently, strengthen relationships with residents, and improve communication between housing services and the community. The initiative has also increased Cardo’s visibility and presence within Britwell, reinforcing a shared commitment to delivering accessible, resident-focused services.
Through collaborative working and community engagement, the partnership continues to create positive outcomes for residents while ensuring support services remain inclusive and accessible to those who need them most.
