Cardo Host community event at Gravel Lane
On 12th August, the cardo roofing team, supported by Social Value manager Natalie Burridge, hosted a wonderful afternoon of entertainment for the residents of Gravel Lane.
The event began with a delicious buffet lunch, giving residents the opportunity to socialise and enjoy a relaxed afternoon together. Following lunch, attendees took part in 6 exciting games of bingo, with a range of prizes up for grabs. Cardo Roofing RLO Bertian kindly offered to play for a visually impaired resident and won him the Full house Jackpot!
The bingo session was completely free for residents, with prizes including Thorntons chocolates, bottles of prosecco, and vouchers for M&S and local garden centres. Massive thank you to Pete and Sam for being our bingo callers.
To round off the event, residents were treated to a fantastic live musical performance from local musician Peter webster, whose set provided the perfect ending to the afternoon, with some residents enjoying a dance.
Despite the hot weather the residents, Cardo and DBC teams thoroughly enjoyed the event. The afternoon was filled with community spirit and was a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
