We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team in Cardiff.
This role requires a strong focus on cost control, effective negotiation skills, and the ability to foster relationships with clients and stakeholders.
The Commercial Manager will play a pivotal role in driving profitability and enhancing overall business performance.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring effective cost control measures are in place.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, clients, and partners to secure favourable terms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives.
• Prepare detailed reports on commercial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in all commercial activities.
Key Skills & Experience:
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commercial operations of the organisation, ensuring that all activities align with our strategic objectives
• Strong relationship and proven track record with Local Authorities, Government, Local Health Boards & Commercial Clients.
• Proven experience dealing with commercial, industrial, office, school & healthcare refurbishment
• Strong understanding of cost control principles and financial management practices.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
