We are currently looking for a Retrofit Project Manager to join our Carbon Solutions Team in Hemel Hempstead.
Please note: You will need to travel between other sites on an occasional basis.
Main Purpose of the Role:
To support and deliver planned project works in line with all prevailing standards, regulations, legislation, company policies and procedures, for a safe, efficient & effective outcome in line with project and business requirements. Proactively managing all site and non-site-based activities with support from your teams and supply chain partners, elevating performance, productivity & profitability for the business, it’s customers and their residents through providing an excellent customer experience.
Main Duties Involve:
- Adopting Cardo Group’s commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment, ensuring you deliver a safe and sustainable service
- Develop, Plan & Manage the project programme and delivery from inception through to completion ensuring customers are engaged at all times, in addition all prevailing contract and performance requirements are monitored and maintained, timescales & budgets are achieved, with all contractual & legal requirements fulfilled.
- The successful execution and adoption of CARDO GROUP Quality Management System, governance controls and accompanying standards, policies and procedures for each project and project teams.
- Accurate and timely management, control & reporting on performance, risk, opportunities & supporting interventions
- Adopting lean principles in the development & execution of all project activities and services
- Timely and accurate reporting to senior management, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and company policies and procedures.
- Auditing project activities and governance procedures as required, ensuring that all contractual responsibilities are being met in order to protect the Company’s interests
- Reviewing sub-contractor selection and subsequent performance
- Identify, manage & develop resources to meet the requirements of the contract (including sub-contractors and supplies)
- Attend Client meetings and
- Monitor and deliver performance against contract specific requirements (including KPI’s and PI’s)
- Produce performance reports and target teams for continuous improvement / development.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Property Service is essential as is the delivery of Planned works projects to occupied properties.
- Experience of Retrofit projects would be an advantage these may include, Thermal Insulation, Roofs, Windows & Renewable Energy Installations.
- Experience of using Lean Principles in Project planning and delivery also would be an advantage.
Essential Qualifications:
- SMSTS, CSCS, Asbestos Awareness, First Aid
- HNC In construction and built environment
- BTEC/NVQ Level 3 In Building surveying
Desirable:
- Experience of the construction industry in general
- Understanding of RDSAP/SAP
- Social housing / Commercial experience
- Other relevant qualifications e.g., NEBOSH
- Degree level education
- Understand the Zero Carbon Sector, and the PAS 2030 compliance requirements associated with Contractor working
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office programs, particularly in MS Project
