Ground Worker (Responsive)

We are a growing business at LCB-Group and we regularly secure new contracts with new and existing clients. Most of our contracts are for 4 to 10 years so we are in a position to be able to recruit good people. We are currently looking to recruit a Groundworker in an around the Cardiff area.

We are looking for people who understand that we do a lot of work in people’s homes, and we treat those valued customers in the same way we treat a much-respected family member – whilst also keeping them safe. Ground worker required to undertake the following duties:

Undertake full ground working duties where necessary.

Remove and relay or lay new, flag work as necessary.

Identify and rectify defects in groundwork as required.

Prepare and lay new concrete paths and ramps.

Remove and relay concrete paths and ramps.

Prepare and lay concrete footings for brickwork.

Renew concrete floors including excavation.

Lift and relay/renew paving stones.

Rake out and re-point brickwork.

Operating machinery and plant.

skilled in various other trade disciplines beneficial.

Carry out routine safety checks of plant and equipment as required

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in Groundworking essential on site and domestic premises.

Level 1 Certificate in Groundworks or Construction Skills, or a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Groundwork and General Construction desirable

Clean current driving licence essential

Plant Operator licence desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
