We are currently looking for a Floor Layer to join our trades team in Bristol.
We are looking for floor layers within the Bristol area who understand that we do a lot of work in people’s homes, and we treat those valued customers in the same way we treat a much-respected family member – whilst also keeping them safe. We hope that sounds like you and that you also share our commitment to getting involved in community projects whenever we get the chance and making a positive difference to people’s lives.
The successful individuals will need to have experience working on own initiative, competent whilst working as a mobile operative, arranging and communicating daily.
To be considered for this role you will need to have a good understanding of all floor types.
- Vinyl sheet,
- Cap and cove,
- Vinyl tiles and latex,
- Domestic floor layer working in properties with tenants
Other duties include:
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external Clients and customers.
- Attend site meetings if required.
- Maintain a safe environment for site staff and residents.
- Be smart in appearance as we are customer facing Business
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Construction or social housing background preferred but not essential
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good organisational skills
- City in Guilds/NVQ or relevant experience
- Ability to work under own initiative and under pressure
- Ability to work as part of team.
- Full Driving licence
- Ability to work closely with outside /contractors/Consultants
Salary £37,500 per year
