Cardo supported local litter pick in Colnbrook organised by The Anti-Litter Society and local parish councillor, Cllr Puja Bedi, on a Saturday morning, which was attended by local residents, active community members, and the local scouts group. The meet-up and regroup point was at the St Thomas’s Parish Church, and the turnout was impressive.
The event was aimed at cleaning up the local area, and it was a great success thanks to the enthusiastic participation of the community. Cardo provided high-visibility jackets to children and young people, as well as children’s litter picks and gloves. Cardo also donated refreshments for all volunteers, including water, cereal bars, crisps, and fruits.
Volunteers were given designated points to collect litter, and they did an excellent job of picking up litter from the streets and surrounding areas. Bags of litter were dropped at designated points throughout the event.
The Litter pick was a great way to bring the community together to make a positive impact on the local environment. The participation of the local scouts group was particularly noteworthy, as it demonstrated their commitment to making a difference in their community.
The organisers expressed their gratitude to all those who participated in the event and made it a success, including Cardo.
“Thank you so much to Osborne Property Services for supporting, and sponsoring the event with refreshments.
Thank you for all your help.”
