Cardo recently supported Aruns’ Bersted Community Hub Family Day, which was hosted at the community hub and on the adjacent playing field. Committed to supporting local communities, we were delighted to be involved in this event. The Bersted Community Hub provides vital community services to local families, including a popular service where free used school uniforms are available and accessible to those who are in need.
Cardo arrived early on the day to help Arun District Council’s team set up, also setting up a stand offering hoopla and short archery. These activities proved to be very popular among families taking part in some competitive fun. Cardo offered free prizes to everyone who took part and also donated two raffled prizes in the form of gift vouchers.
Susannah Conway , Community Engagement Project Officer, expressed
“Thanks again for all your support. The archery went down well, and people appreciated getting a praise and or rewards for no money, just having fun.”
Cardo believes that events like this are an excellent way to bring communities together to promote a sense of unity, wellbeing and belonging, and are glad to be able to contribute to the success of the event.
