OPSL Empowers Over 50s to Re-enter the Workforce Through Continued Partnership with Hart Learning & Development

Cardo continues its commitment to community development in Hemel Hempstead by actively participating in Hart Learning & Development’s Employability course for individuals aged 50 and above, aiming to rejoin the workforce.

Cardo’s dedicated Social Value Manager, Nadia, played a key role in the course, delivering a compelling presentation that shared invaluable insights and advice on navigating the job market for those aged 50 and above. The session provided a platform for participants to engage with Nadia, asking questions, discussing potential challenges, and gaining valuable knowledge on overcoming barriers.

The Employability course, facilitated by experienced Tutor Darran Hay, emphasised crucial aspects such as confidence building, mental health awareness, effective self-presentation in applications and interviews, and the unique value each individual brings to a new role.

The impact of Nadia’s session was echoed in the heartfelt feedback received from Darran Hay:

“The session was gratefully received, and my learners enjoyed your input. You have certainly inspired them to keep pushing for positions in whatever area they so wish.”

The positive atmosphere fostered during the session was a testament to Cardo’s commitment to making a meaningful impact on individuals seeking employment opportunities.
